Journey of a Mindful Seeker
Hello, and welcome! My name is Susan, and I am a wife, a mom, and a proud grandma. From as early as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep desire to understand, “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?” This lifelong curiosity grew more intense over the years, and when I turned 33, it led me on a profound path of self-discovery. It wasn’t just the internal drive that ignited this journey but also an experience that left an indelible mark: watching The Secret on The Oprah Winfrey Show. At that time, I was an avid viewer, and the concepts of the law of attraction—how our thoughts, intentions, and focus shape our reality—resonated deeply with me. I’d already seen glimpses of this truth in my life, even as a child and teenager, when things I focused on seemed to manifest. After discovering The Secret, I realized that this “magic” I’d experienced was a powerful, universal law. This revelation propelled me into deeper spiritual exploration, transforming the way I navigated the world.
As I continued to explore the law of attraction, I began using vision boards with my family as a way to focus our intentions. One incredible moment came when I manifested an opportunity to have my daughters featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show—an event that brought our collective vision to life and solidified my belief in the law of attraction as a guiding principle in my life. Since then, I’ve witnessed countless big and small manifestations, and I continue to apply these insights in my daily life.
For the past 18 years, I’ve dedicated countless hours to this journey—immersing myself in ancient cultures and religions, exploring spiritual teachings from around the world, and studying modern psychology, ancient philosophy, and the science of quantum physics. This blend of knowledge, particularly my meditation practice and the study of the mind’s power, has been transformative. These practices have helped me address and overcome personal blockages, deepened my awareness, and given me tools to shape my reality more consciously.
As a mom, a wife, and an entrepreneur, balancing everything can often feel overwhelming. There are moments when carving out time for oneself seems impossible, yet I’ve come to realize that life itself is a practice. Every choice—whether it’s skipping a meeting to be present for my child, setting boundaries in relationships, or engaging in daily tasks like cooking or laundry—presents an opportunity to live mindfully. It took years to understand that these small moments offer the chance to cultivate presence, self-awareness, and growth, making life richer and more fulfilling.
Through this journey, I’ve come to understand that 'working on ourselves' from the inside out is the most valuable investment we can make in ourselves and for those we love. Working on yourself isn’t just about having a great body or looking your best—it’s about taking a holistic approach. Every aspect of you matters, especially your inner thoughts, inner dialogue, and the beliefs you hold. It is through this deep inner work that we can truly grow, heal, live more fully, and ultimately find peace.
I created Journey of a Mindful Seeker as a space to share the tools, insights, and wisdom I’ve gathered along the way. My hope is that this platform will support others in their quest for a more meaningful, mindful, balanced life—one that nurtures the body, mind, spirit, and relationships.
I also created this platform to honor my daughters, my grandson, all my future grandchildren, and my inner child. Their love and immense support have healed my inner child in ways that words cannot fully express. Through them, I have learned to truly love myself and to embrace the person I am (flaws and all) and the person I am still becoming.
